In Emma's own words

I am a local resident who cares deeply about our community, our green spaces, and the people who live here. I grew up in an ecologically minded home where I learned the importance of protecting nature, reducing waste, and looking after the world we share. Those values have shaped my life and are a big part of why I am standing as a Green Party candidate.

I was previously involved in helping to run a grassroots activist group called Mothers Rise Up, where I worked with others to campaign on environmental and social issues affecting families and our future. I believe local action can make a real difference, and that communities are strongest when people feel connected, supported, and heard.

I am actively involved in local life through choirs, conservation activities, and teaching yoga, all of which help bring people together and support wellbeing. I want to help build a greener, fairer, and more caring community for everyone who lives here.
