In Gurpal's own words

I’ve always cared somewhat about the natural world, and then I realised our environment is our life support system and needs to be regenerated so people can live full, healthy and happy lives. Therefore I joined the Green Party as they are the only ones prioritising our health and economic competitiveness.

Only the Greens have ambitious plans for education, which is the most efficient way to create real equality in our society, and a stronger economy. This, on top of building high quality low energy homes to permanently reduce the cost of living, means the Green Party is focussed on helping people to thrive, instead of just getting by.
