Joe Bhangu
Ealing Community Independents Party candidate for Southall Green
People before politics. Joginder has been living in Southall since 1965 with his wife and two daughters, who have all grown up, married and are living locally as well. Joginder, known by his friends as Joe - has been running a road transport business since the late 80s. He got involved in local politics from the sidelines and used to attend many ward forums held by the council. Many residents ask Joe for guidance and advice on local problems, such as hospital departments that were closing, the parking problems faced by many residents or concerns about the construction of thousands of flats at the old gas works site.
