In Monica's own words

I am delighted to have been selected as the Labour’s candidate for Wokingham. For too long we have been ignored and let down by the Tory Government. I promise as your local voice to stand up for our communities, to fight for what is right and be part of delivering the change this country needs. I came into politics to change people's lives for the better - and that means changing the government. The choice is between a Labour government or more of the same under the Conservatives. As a councillor and as a caseworker for a member of Parliament I have seen at first hand the hardship the years of Tory chaos have inflicted on our people and our country. Only Labour can bring the change we need. Wokingham needs a Labour MP who will speak up for our area and who will support the Labour’s agenda for change.
