In Gary's own words

I have lived in the South Lake Ward since 2010 and also work locally as a primary school teacher. Through my work in the community, I have built strong relationships with many local families and gained a deep understanding of the issues that matter most to residents.

I am committed to helping make our area a clean, safe and fair place to live for everyone. As a parent of two young sons, I am especially motivated to ensure that the neighbourhood they grow up in — and the community we all share — is the best it can be. That is why I am standing as a council candidate: to work with residents and help build a stronger future for South Lake.
