Alex Culley
Reform UK candidate for Eastleigh North
I have lived in Eastleigh since 2016 and am standing in Eastleigh North. I am heavily invested in the Eastleigh area. My children attend nursery and school in the Borough. Professionally, I run a consultancy near Southampton Airport advising firms on governance and financial regulation. Eastleigh residents have been feeling the impact of rising council tax for some time. Hampshire’s finances are under severe pressure. Reserves are being depleted, and a significant funding gap is emerging that threatens us all. My priorities are clear: (1) challenging wasteful spending and demanding proper scrutiny of council finances; (2) contesting decisions that increase costs for residents without improving services; and (3) focusing spending on core services that people in Eastleigh rely on. At work, I deal with complex financial issues. I would bring that same discipline locally, holding decision-makers to account and standing up for residents facing rising costs and declining value.
