In Natasha's own words

I was born and raised in North London and have been living in Enfield for the last few years. I love being a part of this community. As a parent and a children’s book editor I am constantly inspired to make a better world for future generations. If elected I would use the skills and knowledge I have from years as a trade union representative. I believe in working together, using our power as a community to make change, and I know how to negotiate to get the best outcome for the people I represent. There are so many areas where a Green council would improve lives - from healthcare to housing and education to climate action. I’m particularly passionate about opposing austerity in local government as well as divesting from fossil fuels and companies complicit in genocide and have therefore signed the Greens Organise pledge against austerity and the PSC pledge for Palestine. I would be a voice for the people of Upper Edmonton - making sure the council is held accountable, that we are honest and transparent and making decisions with you not for you.
