In Alex's own words

I have lived in Greenwich all my life. I brought up my children here and they’ve stayed too. I have helped with many environmental campaigns locally. I care deeply about the environment and am a keen gardener. An artist and teacher, I have taught English to asylum seekers and refugees. I understand what drove them to escape the life threatening circumstances they faced.

My attachment to my home borough means I care about the conservation of historic Greenwich and feel strongly about protecting the local environment from over development. I have been a Charlton fan all my life.
