Anji Petersen is standing for Green Party in West Thamesmead. She has worked with river charity Thames 21 conducting community engagement on environmental improvements to Gallions lake. Anji has lobbied for improved walking and cycling access from West Thamesmead ward to Plumstead and Woolwich stations. Recently she worked with consultants to redesign the Pettman Crescent underpass. She has called for National rail to provide an entrance to platform 2 of Plumstead station. A user of the Ridgeway, she would like to see improved access from Pettman Crescent. She runs a river action group removing plastic waste from the Thames foreshore at Crossness in her spare time.
