Melvin Haskins
Reform UK candidate for East Finchley
Mel Haskins has lived in Barnet for many years and is keen to give back to the community he has called home for more than half his life. With over 45 years’ experience in international banking technology, Mel built a distinguished career leading major financial software projects and advising global institutions including IBM and JP Morgan. He previously served as Managing Director of BIS Banking Systems and later founded his own consultancy, working with banks and technology firms worldwide. A long-time supporter of Brexit, Mel became disillusioned with the way the Conservatives handled its delivery. He believes Reform UK offers a fresh direction, with practical policies to control illegal immigration, reduce bureaucracy and get Britain working again.
