In Jon's own words

I am a lifelong Great Yarmouth resident, public servant and community leader. I began my working life at Joyland on the seafront and later served as a Special Constable with Great Yarmouth Police, patrolling the town centre, serving the community and policing the nighttime economy. I spent 20 years with the Department for Work and Pensions, leading frontline teams locally and delivering major national projects, including preparations for the EU Exit.

I now serve as the Constituency Office Manager to Rupert Lowe, leading his Great Yarmouth office. I manage a dedicated team and work directly with residents, businesses and community groups to enhance Great Yarmouth.

As the lead candidate for Great Yarmouth First, I am committed to strong, authentic leadership rooted in experience, accountability and delivery - focused solely on serving our community. I am determined to secure the best for Great Yarmouth and the surrounding areas.
