In Midnight's own words

Midnight has lived in Haggerston for over 5 years and has immersed herself into the Hackney community. She has been a committed volunteer with Hackney Citizens Advice and her local foodbank and takes pride in her role as a trust governor of Hackney New Primary School. With a legal background and her current work in human rights law, Midnight is interested in social justice and anti-discrimination and is also an advocate for mental wellbeing.

Midnight is passionate about housing. She was brought up on council estates and is now a private renter with a strong belief that a comfortable, safe, secure home for all is a fundamental right. Midnight has listened to the concerns of Haggerston residents on the doorstep and looks forward to representing your voice at Hackney council. As a nature enthusiast, Midnight values Hackney’s green spaces and aims to work to preserve these and enhance the environment.

Midnight is looking forward to supporting Haggerston’s diverse residents and making a real difference to people’s lives. Midnight is keen to work with residents, families and community groups to make Hackney a great place to live and a borough to be proud of.
