In Rolf's own words

Rolf Dekker (he/him) is raising his young children in Victoria, Hackney. A digital marketer originally from the Netherlands, his background in the Dutch Green Party (GroenLinks) fostered his pragmatic approach to community problems. A committed daily cyclist and parent, he is an active member of the 'Safer Roads and Clean Air in South Hackney' campaign. Rolf believes in listening to locals, especially when LTN schemes risk dividing communities.

Rolf says: “Listening and mediation is how we fix Hackney’s traffic, making it safer and more accessible for residents and businesses. Casework is about solving everyday problems—from schools in need to unsafe junctions—with total transparency. I aim to bridge the gap between Green policy and the lived realities of Hackney residents.”
