In Derek's own words

Derek French has lived in Edgware Ward since 1976 and brings decades of experience in banking, consultancy and aviation. He holds an MBA from Middlesex University and has over 40 years’ military service as both a regular and reservist. Derek has seen significant changes in Edgware and strongly opposes overdevelopment, including the Ballymore Broadwalk scheme backed by Conservatives and approved by Labour. He will challenge wasteful spending, cut unnecessary bureaucracy, and ensure council decisions reflect residents’ priorities and protect the character of Edgware.
