Elin Weston
Labour councillor for Hornsey
Council: Haringey
Term ends: 2 May 2030
It has been a privilege to represent my community since my election in 2014 I have lived in the ward for the past 12 years and am happy to call Hornsey home.Since my election I have held regular surgeries, met and worked with community groups, and carried out casework on behalf of residents ranging from recycling to repairs, and from school admissions to housing issues. I have taken a special interest in supporting our looked after children and in education in the borough and am proud that 99% of our schools are now rated good or outstanding by Ofsted. While the Government continues to impose devastating cuts on local authorities, I believe that Labour Councils can still support some of the most vulnerable members of our community and reduce inequalities.
