In Hannah's own words

Having previous experience as a City Councillor, I have a track record of making tangible improvements to play areas, parks and green spaces and pushing the Labour-run council to improve its ambition, especially on climate change and biodiversity.

In my professional life, I am a hospital doctor and researcher, as well as a Trade Union representative defending NHS staff from unfair conditions. Since moving to West Chesterton, I have helped make sure pavements are safe and clear for pedestrians; worked to remove bollards which are obstructive to prams and wheelchairs. When previously a councillor, I spoke up for residents on many occasions at council, holding the Labour-run administration to account across key issues for our city; whether it be water, housing, the wider environment or ecology. I’m proud of my work as a community campaigner and hope that you will vote for more hard work in May.
