In Helen's own words

This pandemic year has taught us all the importance of our immediate environment. As a mother of four children who lives in a Huntingdonshire village, I am well aware of those things that need to be done to improve the quality of life in the villages where we now spend far more time than previously

Children and parents should have access to cycleways so they can travel independently to school or shops and to safe crossings so they can get to local parks where they can enjoy the freedom of playing together.

Rural bus services should be improved so that older people can get out to shops or meet friends. There should be accessible cashpoints in every village.

These are the things I will strive to bring about if I am elected.
