Saravanan Muthusamy
Conservative candidate for Barkingside
I am working as an Accounts Manager for a Logistics company and have lived in Woods Estate for the last 12 years. I feel our ward is becoming a crime hotspot for car theft and drug dealings. We need more police patrols in our streets to prevent crime than doing the paper work after the crime has happened. If I become a councillor I will promote democracy in Redbridge council and avoid schemes like Quiet Street’s being implemented without public consultation. I will use my financial skills to fight for better allocations of council funds to where it’s actually needed.
