In Noor's own words

I am the only independent candidate at this election, giving residents a real choice to vote for someone committed to them.

Residents in Mayfield have a great opportunity to break free from the domination of Labour and Conservatives who, for decades, have neglected local people whilst imposing huge tax rises. Locally, our streets are unsafe, unclean, and services are crumbling. I'm in politics to change this and to serve residents with integrity, unlike our current Ilford South MP and former Mayfield ward councillor, Jas Athwal, who as Council leader failed to licence his own rental flats, whilst demanding everyone else did.

Over the past 10 years, this Labour Council has had a very shoddy record in delivering for the people of Redbridge. Our streets are filthy and crime is at epidemic levels. We desperately need local people to control their own destiny. I live locally and work for the NHS. I'm also a magistrate, and I came a very close second when I stood to be the local MP at the last General Election.

If elected, I will fight hard for Mayfield residents at the Town Hall and deliver for them at this time of great uncertainty. People are worried about the cost of living, the state of our neighbourhoods, the huge increases in our Council Tax and the chronically poor state of our housing.

With a few exceptions, most Cllrs in Redbridge are exclusively Labour, so I'm asking residents to lend me their vote and give me the opportunity to show what an Ilford Independents candidate can achieve for local residents. As their Councillor, local people and their needs will be my priority.
