In Stefan's own words

My name is Stefan Long. I was born in Ipswich and have lived here my whole life. At age 16 I started an engineering apprenticeship at the Port of Felixstowe and have worked there since. From 2014 to 2020 I was a senior shop steward for Unite the union. I was elected to this role by my colleagues to represent their views and opinions on current events within the workplace and feedback to them about ongoing issues or updates on policy.

If elected as your local councillor my promise to you is simple. I will listen and engage with the local community. I will take on board your views and represent them where appropriate. I will keep you updated on proposed changes and explain to the best of my ability how and why decisions were made.

This is our town and residents within it deserve to have a voice and be heard.
