In Raju's own words

Raju has lived in Surbiton since 1968. He studied at Hollyfield Secondary School and worked for BT until he took early release in March 2012. His community voluntary work over the past thirty-five years includes as Local Authority school governor, and as an elected Councillor in Kingston from 1994 to 2002. He was a founder member of the Kingston Group for Religious Understanding which has now become Kingston Racial Equality Council.
