In Dominic's own words

Hello, I’m Dominic, a 24 year old graduate carbon analyst and your Green Party candidate for Adel and Wharfedale.

I have lived in the ward almost my entire life and am proud to call it home. With two aging grandparent also living in the ward I understand the importance of community and looking out for your neighbours.

In this spirit I have been involved in Bramhope in Bloom, hosting stalls, organising and of course countless hours of gardening! Last year I was on the front desk taking in everyone’s ticket at the Bramhope show – before we got heavily rained on!

Though being a beautiful area to live in, Adel and Wharfedale is not without it’s problems. Through working at the co-op in Adel I had a first-hand experience of shoplifting and physical assault, which I later fed back to the local police in a PACT meeting held in Holt Park.

Also, like many other young people here I am being faced with having to move away from the ward because of the reduced X84 services making my commute and any other travel more difficult.

Building hundreds of new houses whilst decreasing investment in our public transport is obscene and I would jump through any hoop to stop a repeat of this!

Though incredibly grateful for the years of service our councillors have given us, I think it’s time for change and I would be feeling privileged to have your support.

Is this you?
