Councillor Candidate
Gordon Richard Howe

Gordon Richard Howe

Green Party candidate for Adel & Wharfedale

Green Party

Hello. I’m Gordon Howe, your second Green candidate for Adel and Wharfedeale. I’m a 71-year old retired postman of 34 years, having formerly worked at Ireland Wood delivery office. Born in South East London to a working class family, I have been a lifelong trade union activist and a member of the Green Party for many years. I moved to the Ireland Wood area of Leeds 26 years ago and have lived there ever since. I’ve entered local politics as I believe we need more representation for ordinary working people. I am a great believer in community and influence by local people over decisions that affect their neighbourhood.
