In Shahab's own words

Burmantofts and Richmond Hill is a very diverse and dynamic place, full of amazing people and families. They deserve better!

Many people across the ward are facing growing concerns with the cost of living crisis, which perpetuates health and wellbeing inequalities. Everyone deserves to live and work in a safe and secure economic environment. I’ll be working hard with my Green colleagues to make life easier, not more difficult for everyone in Burmantofts and Richmond Hill.

I’ll be working to bring our amazingly diverse communities together and to create a community spirit which elevates our sense of belonging and makes Burmantofts & Richmond Hill safer for everyone, especially women and children.

Just like many of our Green councillors and activists, myself and my team will be working all year round to keep our streets clean from litter and fly-tipping, from drugs and anti-social behaviour, and from unsafe roads and potholes.

For a brighter future, a Green future, vote Green on 7th May!
