In Sebastian's own words

Sebastian Moore serves as the SDP’s North West Chair. He lives in Old Moat and volunteers locally at a food bank. Having helped build the foundations of the SDP in the region, he is committed to forming a council which better represents the people of Manchester.

Sebastian Moore said:

“I’m standing in this election because the people of Old Moat deserve better. I love Manchester and I am proud to call this city my home but the council needs to start acting in the interests of its residents.

We are currently trying to copy London which will lead to a more precarious housing situation, more transience, and a lower trust community. We need to forge our own future as a city and that means electing councillors that will not grandstand on political issues outside of our control, but instead work to put the residents of Old Moat first, every time.
