In Dave's own words

I have been proud to serve Knowle Ward as a Councillor for five years now and to have made things happen for individuals, groups and the community as a whole in that time. Whether dealing with major issues, such as inappropriate developments, or flooding, or all too frequent irritants, eg potholes and overgrown hedges, I have been pleased to intervene and get results.

I am also very active as a Trustee Director of Knowle Society and Founder Director of Visit Knowle.

I am particularly proud to have been or currently being at the heart of the demands to rejuvenate the Precinct, the need for a new life for the former Station Road toilet block, the new planters in Swan Yard, the annual Christmas Lights Switch-on, the Jubilee, Coronation and VE80 celebrations and those for the forthcoming 750th Anniversary of Knowle

A resident since the early eighties, I remain eager to keep Knowle a great place to live. I like to think that through all of these activities, I make a significant contribution to our community life and provide a strong and well connected representative voice for our residents and businesses.
