James has lived/worked in West Sussex for 15 years. He is committed to strengthening the local community and ensuring that decisions made at council level reflect the needs of residents.

Professionally, James works as Owner & Managing Director of Brighton Electric Studios. His experience includes:

25 years as a successful entrepreneur in the arts industry. A proven employer & problem solver, he is highly experienced in managing a complex team in a competitive, high pressure environment.

James worked as a trustee on the board of Audioactive (Charity) in Brighton 24/25

MD of CIC Brighton Electric Community which runs wellbeing and therapy sessions for young and under represented people.

“I’m standing as a Green Party candidate to bring practical, results-driven leadership to our council. I run a local business, create jobs and understand what our community needs to thrive. I’ll support local businesses and push for proper infrastructure from developers. To make better use of council spaces to create real opportunities for young people. I’ll take a straightforward, practical approach to protecting our local environment.”
