In Leigh-Anne's own words

I’m standing as an Independent to give local people a strong voice and to ensure that the priorities of residents in Woughton & Fishermead are heard and acted upon.

I’ve been a family carer for many years, and I work to support other carers in accessing the help they need. I campaign for more social housing and better rights for renters, and for better educational opportunities for all.

I’ve a proven track record of getting issues fixed locally. Working with fellow independents and residents, I’ve helped to get problems such as fly-tipping and broken street lights fixed. My priorities include safer, cleaner streets and redways, improved access to green spaces, and better opportunities for young people.

I’m climate educator at the OU, writing courses that help teachers across all sectors address the climate crisis and support climate action. I am committed to making Woughton and Fishermead a greener, healthier place to live and to making sure our seven estates are not neglected by the City Council.
