Green Party candidate for Howdon
I have been involved in campaigning for equality in various capacities for many years and I am standing as a Green Party candidate because I believe the overwhelming evidence that we need to change the way we’re living if we want the planet to survive for our children and grandchildren to safely live on. I believe the Green Party has a complete, constructive and achievable set of policies that will work better than any other party’s will in achieving a fair society and ensuring the planet survives for the generations to come. I have a Master’s degree in Equal Opportunities and worked in the Arts for over 15 years, for local authorities, the Arts Council of England North East and local/regional arts organisations and before that in the popular music industry. I then retrained as a web developer and designer and now work freelance with businesses in the North East. I am committed to working within the principles of Humane Technology.
