Labour candidate for Fleet Central
Active on State
As a Labour candidate for Hart District Council in 2026, I am standing to make sure local people have a stronger, fairer voice at the council table. I am realistic: with a handful of Labour councillors, we are unlikely to control the council. But that does not mean we cannot make a difference. We can challenge decisions, push for better use of public money, and ensure that residents’ concerns are properly heard—not overlooked in closed-door agreements. With a Labour government now investing in our wider region, including £20 million targeted at more deprived communities in nearby Rushmoor, Hart’s needs are different—but no less important. We face pressures on housing affordability, access to services, and the cost of living that still require attention and investment. I will work to ensure Hart makes a strong, credible case for support that reflects our local priorities. Locally, my focus is clear: more genuinely affordable homes for local families, practical action on everyday costs, and protecting the character of our towns and villages while planning responsibly for the future. Even in opposition, Labour councillors can secure changes, win small but meaningful improvements, and hold others to account. If elected, I will be a visible, active councillor—listening, responding, and standing up for you every step of the way.
