Green Party candidate for Hook

My vision for Hook & Odiham is a simple one - I want to keep our corner of Hart beautiful, and as wonderful a place to live in as it can possibly be. I consider myself an outsider when it comes to local politics and, as such, I arrive with no agenda but to serve and improve my local area. A publisher and journalist by trade, I first moved to Hook four years ago – and I’ve been actively campaigning against the overdevelopment of the area pretty much ever since. I want better roads, free of the potholes the previous administration have allowed to dominate our highways. And I want to protect Hook & Odiham from the threat of overdevelopment that our local council seems so intent on delivering. And where construction is actually needed I will fight for adequate services and infrastructure – something the current County Council seems to treat as a luxury rather than a necessity.
