In Indigo's own words

Indigo Haynes (she/her) is a modern languages student in her final year at Oxford University, with plans to start a teacher training course in Oxford after graduating.

She's been involved with local politics since she was a teenager, having run campaigns in her hometown to save a local hospital from shutdown, get better bus routes with cheaper fares, and led climate change protests and 'Fridays For Future' school walk-outs.

She was also a member of Youth Parliament, and secretary of her local Labour Party; since Starmer's election as Prime Minister, she left the party, feeling betrayed by his government's actions. Now in Oxford, her focus is on the same issues she's always fought for: preserving local services, improving public transport, and working to fix the climate crisis.
