In Sam's own words

Sam (he/him) works as an energy advisor helping residents try to cope with predatory energy firms and access the technology that can help reduce them.

He has been a committed housing activist serving as treasurer of ACORN Oxford, campaigning to prevent unjust evictions and hold bad landlords to account. He volunteers with Oxford Mutual Aid and various local groups including Oxford Synagogue and Community Land Trust.

In these roles see the inequality and vulnerability plaguing this city, driven by deep structural causes. Sam says: “A Green led administration is a chance to turn the power of Oxford City council against the causes of inequality, and make it a better place for us all.”
