Andrea Schiavi (he/him) moved to Oxford in 2010 and has called it home ever since, drawn by its strong, diverse communities. Andrea is standing as a local councillor because they care deeply about equality, fairness and ensuring everyone can benefit from what Oxford has to offer. They believe more must be done locally to improve access to housing, services and opportunity, especially as economic pressures affect some communities more than others. A scientist by training, Andrea now works in tech and volunteers on the board of a local bike charity. They are committed to bold local action on the climate crisis, from sustainable transport to greener neighbourhoods, and to keeping Oxford ambitious while putting people at the centre of decision‑making.
