In Bev's own words

Bev has been a trustee at the Agnes Smith Advice Centre down in Blackbird Leys for many years.

Bev worked at Oxfam for 35 years. She is dedicated to fighting injustice, poverty, and inequality across Oxford and beyond. Since her retirement in 2022, Bev has been volunteering as a receptionist and a cashier at the Oxfam charity shop on the Cowley Road.

As a former school governor, Bev is active in her local community and local Labour Party, and she’d encourage others to get involved too.
