In Freda's own words

I have lived in North Oxford for over 25 years, as a student, worker and parent – my 3 children attended Phil & Jim and Cherwell schools. I am active in the community activities and currently a school governor at two local schools. I have always worked in education. Earlier in my career I was a secondary school teacher, education producer and Oxfordshire School Advisor. I currently teach and research at the Open University, supporting students from diverse backgrounds to achieve their potential and partnering with colleagues across the globe to improve teacher training systems.

Why am I doing this? Because I am committed to our community and want to make Oxford a better, fairer place to live for all. If elected I would listen hard to the views of Summertown residents and champion their interests from a position of local knowledge.
