In Rajiv's own words

Rajiv is the director of a human rights nonprofit, advocating for freedom and democracy and campaigning against majoritarian hate politics. In this capacity Rajiv is a grassroots organiser and activist. Before this he worked in the private sector, focussing on strategy and research at early-stage startups. As Green MP for the Cities of London and Westminster, these will be Rajiv's main priorities: 1) More affordable housing: Rajiv will campaign for more social housing and intermediate housing in the Cities of London and Westminster, not for proposals that perpetuate the affordability and cost of living crises for most Londoners. He will also call for an end to Section 21 no-fault evictions and look to bring in rent controls immediately; 2) Support for families: Rajiv will lobby for better support for families and lobby against the cruel two-child benefit cap. He is also committed to investing more in our underfunded health and social care, improving access to healthcare, and increasing NHS salaries; 3) More vital investments for walking, cycling, and public transport: Rajiv will campaign for more walking and cycling infrastructure in the constituency, enabling more active and healthy travel. He is also committed to improving our public transport facilities so that they are more affordable and effective in reducing emissions; 4) Call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the release of all hostages, and serious efforts towards political solutions to the violence, which cannot be stopped with more violence.
