Andy Cross
Liberal Democrats candidate for Wheatley
I am standing in the Rochford District Council elections on 5th May, 2022 for Wheatley Ward in Rayleigh. Born in Rayleigh and always having lived here, I have seen many changes over the years, some to the detriment of Rayleigh people. Whatever your political preference is at the national level, local politics is a completely different entity but equally as important. Decisions taken at the local government level, greatly affect our quality of life and our community's well-being both now and for future generations. Even if you don't vote for me, I passionately believe it is our duty to vote out of respect to the many millions who lost their lives in countless conflicts to maintain our democracy and way of life. Like my parents before me, I have always voted Liberal and latterly Lib Dem as I believe it is important to have a balanced approach to politics.
