“Together let’s make things happen. I am happily married, young dynamic and up for putting Rochdale back on the map. The school system let me down. I am determined to ensure this does not happen to a single child in Rochdale ever again. I was lucky, I work in my family confectionary business. I support my local community and want the best for them. During my working life I have been lucky enough to develop a range of skills. But I see the young people in my ward cannot get help with skills and learning experiences because we have no youth centres.”
