Josh Darling

Independent candidate for Shiregreen and Brightside

Independent

I was born and raised in Sheffield and live in Wincobank with my wife and two young sons. I am like many of you. I love my family, I love my city and I love my country. However, you have a duty to be honest with those you love and the truth is, our country and our city is in decline and has been for some time. The Labour, Green and Liberal Democrats have been in charge of the council for the entirety of this time. I witness daily how the council wastes your money, is permissive of crime in our communities and seems to have forgotten who they are supposed to be serving... Ordinary, hardworking, British people. Currently, our ward has two Labour councillors. Do we really need a third to just agree with the status quo? If elected, I will be a true voice for the people in Shiregreen and Brightside who feel like their concerns are not being heard. We need somebody truly outside the establishment to hold them to task for their mismanagement which makes everyone's life harder than it should.
