Councillor Candidate
Maleiki Haybe

Maleiki Haybe

Green Party candidate for Broomhill and Sharrow Vale

Green Party

Broomhill and Sharrow Vale is my home. It is where I was raised, went to primary school and had my first job. I still live here today. Before becoming a councillor, I did community and youth work for many years. I care deeply about these matters, especially supporting young people and families with children who have disabilities or special educational needs. What keeps me grounded is the local community. I still volunteer in the ward and spend as much time as I can speaking to residents and helping with issues. Being a councillor is not just about meetings at the Town Hall. It is about listening, standing up for people and doing the small practical things that make our neighbourhood a better place to live. Broomhill and Sharrow Vale shaped who I am, and it is a privilege to represent the place I call home.
