Councillor Candidate
Chris Allen

Chris Allen

Conservative candidate for Langdon Hills

Conservative

Chris Allen Langdon Hills and Westley Heights resident for 28 years. Chartered professional. Previously elected to Basildon Council for Langdon Hills 2021-2022 and was a highly effective councillor the area. Essex County Council is where so many typical problems arise: education, roads and highways, footpaths, lights, adult social care, to name a few. Basildon Council also oversees big responsibilities, like waste and recycling, parks and play areas, local assets such as community centres and swimming pools, and not voting to disappear green belt and rights to elect. Newsletters are part of the job when elected. Identifying and implementing solutions to problems, IMHO, is superior to saying, "it's them, not me". We have a nice slate of candidates in Langdon Hills, and Westley Heights, on Thursday 7 May 2026. But the risk of standing is that one of us will be elected to each public office. If it's me you elect, then I'm ready to serve the interests of us all in Nethermanye and Langdon Hills, which comprises Westley Heights.
