Councillor Candidate
Brian Milnes

Brian Milnes

Liberal Democrats candidate for Sawston

Liberal Democrats

I am standing again in 2021 and hoping to do very slightly better than in 2017, when your LibDem candidates came within a few dozen votes of displacing the incumbents. Since then we were very grateful for your support in Sawston and Shelford when you returned 4 LibDem Councillors to help run the District Council. We are getting positive feedback about good management, having made some key appointments at senior level. And people are very supportive of our Geren agenda which underpins all our policies. Since that time however, things at a national level have gotten in a state due to the pandemic AND Brexit. Both of these have been exagerrated by their poor handling by the awful Boris Johnson Government. We hope by voting for us at the County Council elections, to send a strong message to Central Government by electing a LibDem administration for Cambridgshire. Thank you. Brian
