In Simon's own words

I am standing in West Shoebury because I believe local people deserve a councillor who will put residents first, speak plainly, and challenge poor decisions.

West Shoebury is a wonderful place to live, but too often local people feel ignored while overdevelopment, pressure on roads and services, and everyday issues like pavements, parking and cleanliness are not taken seriously enough.

If elected, I will work hard to be a strong local voice for West Shoebury — listening properly, asking difficult questions, and standing up for the people who live here rather than simply following a party line.

I believe local politics should be about common sense, honesty and accountability. That means supporting sensible development, protecting local character, improving the basics, and making sure residents are properly heard.
