Peray Ahmet
Labour candidate for Noel Park
I was elected as a Councillor in Noel Park in 2014 and am delighted to be a Labour candidate for the elections in May 2018. As a lifelong resident of Haringey this is a huge privilege. My parents are Turkish Cypriot immigrants, who have lived in Wood Green since the late 1960s. I attended local schools - Earlham Primary and Woodside High.It has been a pleasure working with and on behalf of residents. We have achieved a lot, including the Team Noel Park project which focused on fly tipping and Anti Social Behaviour. Many challenges remain, including ensuring that the resident voice is foremost in the regeneration plans for Wood Green. Any changes must be of benefit to those who are already here.
