Councillor Candidate
Stephen Booth

Stephen Booth

Liberal Democrats candidate for Longmeadow

Liberal Democrats

Since you first elected me, the world has changed. The Government was unprepared for the pandemic and mishandled it. On the plus side the UK came up with a vaccine ahead of other major countries. Then the unthinkable happened: Putin unleashed a war in Europe causing massive loss of life and disruption. Today, we have a serious cost of living crisis affecting everyone, and our NHS is struggling. Luckily, in Chells we have easy access to Fairlands Valley Park and our own Chells Park, now with a new children’s playground helped with funding from me and my fellow Lib Dem councillors’ community budgets. I am therefore honoured to have served as one of your team of Lib Dem councillors, working to maintain and improve Chells. I hope you will support me for re-election on Thursday 4 May.
