In Alex's own words

Alex Davies grew up near Streatham Common station, attending Immanuel and St Andrew Primary School in Buckleigh Road. He has lived in Streatham for 34 years.

Alex joined the Lib Dems in 1999 to campaign against library closures in the area, and was elected as a councillor in 2010. He worked with residents to save Streatham Tate Library when Lambeth’s Labour Council threatened it with closure.
