Councillor Candidate
Matthew Thomas Vallender

Matthew Thomas Vallender

Conservative candidate for St Margaret and South Marston

Conservative

Delighted to be able to announce that I have been unanimously reselected to contest the new South Marston Ward in the May 2026 all-out elections. Boundary changes mean the current Stratton St Margaret and South Marston Ward gets split into a 3 councillor Lower Stratton Ward and a 1 councillor South Marston Ward. Over the last three years, I’ve worked consistently to tackle the local issues, whether it is flooding, development issues, construction vehicles, stopping the traveller camp, and car break-ins; supported community action days like tree planting and litter picks; and other events across the village - working in partnership with South Marston Parish Council. I hope I get the chance to continue for four more years next May and I hope I can count on your support!
