Councillor Candidate
Jim Robbins

Jim Robbins

Labour candidate for Old Town

Labour

As an Old Town resident, I’m proud to be standing for election where I Iive. I have had the honour of being Leader of the Council since 2023, and we have worked hard to rebuild the relationship between the Council and residents. We have delivered the funding for a new Entertainments Venue, the first new Youth Centre in the Borough in a generation, sorted installed Bus Boulevard and Museum projects, got our Adults services rated as Good and have exciting plans for devolution with the Thames Valley, the ton centre and new jobs. I’m really proud of the emerging Drone sector we are creating the jobs and opportunities it will deliver for Swindon. Please vote for me as your Labour & Co-operative Party Candidate on May 7th.
