Active on State

Labour

Leon has lived in Grange Park for nearly 25 years and in Swindon for over 30 years. Over the past few years as a parish and borough councillor, he's worked hard to deliver for the area - including securing the resurfacing of Hay Land in Grange Park. He's also enjoyed working alongside fantastic local volunteers on projects like rewilding in Toothill Park and village centre litter picks throughout the year, not just at election time. Leon is a product development manager at a local pharmaceutical development and manufacturing company where he has been employed for over 25 years. In this role he has gained experience of risk management, negotiation, planning and budgeting all of which help in the role of councillor. Leon is a keen advocate for environmental concerns and is proud to be an investor in Westmill Wind Farm which is the South of England’s first 100% community owned onshore windfarm He enjoys running and travel and often combining the two, having ran half Marathons and Marathons in several European cities.
